Canyoning or Canyoneering is the sport of remote canyon exploration by rappelling or abseiling off cliffs or
waterfalls, scrambling up or down rocks, jumping into deep pools and sliding down natural rock slides
Canyoning is a relatively new sport in Thailand, but quickly growing popularity in the west. Northern Thailand
is a perfect outdoor paradise and ideal for Canyoning
We run canyoning trips to our secret location in Doi Inthanon National Park, less than 90 kilometers from Chiang Mai's city center.
With plenty of experience under our belts on several continents we feel quite at home in the canyon. We offer an unforgettable day's adventures with our international standard equipment and experienced staff. Depending on our guests, we can tone the trip for the experienced canyoneer or for a first time explorer. Setting out from Chiang Mai 7:00-8:00 am, stopping for coffee and munchies along the way, we arrive at our destination by 9:30am. After 1 kilometer hike in we gear up and have a safety briefing.
Full instruction is provided for the day, though a certain level of fitness is required and you must be able to negotiate heights.
Our Course takes us about 4 hours to complete before having lunch and enjoying the beautiful surrounding of the jungle. We pack up and head off back to Chiang Mai, just before 7 pm.
Operating since 2000, we are the only company offering true Canyoning in the region and certainly the only one with Western accredited safety standards and training. Our 100% incident-free record
speaks for itself!
We also offer daily whitewater raftingandwhitewater KayakingTrips. Come and experience the beauty of the rainforest and remote areas of Northern Thailand as we follow the rivers and canyons through untouched wilderness and past quaint rural villages.
